The Canberra Liberals will deliver 200,000 GP visits each year by supporting GPs and prioritising primary care.
We will reduce emergency department overload by expanding GP availability, and strengthening after-hours care.
By prioritising primary care we will make the ACT more attractive for healthcare professionals, ease pressure on emergency departments and provide overall better care for Canberrans.

Deliver better walk-in centres where GPs will work hand-in-hand with nurses
Incentivise practices to provide after-hours care
Waive up to $100,000 of HECS debt for up to 30 new GPs
Exempt GPs from Labor's GP tax
Deliver medical imaging at GP integrated clinics
Provide reform and training for GPs to prescribe and diagnose ADHD
Expand scope of practice for pharmacists
